I went to visit here with my parents and two children(9&13) while on holiday. My parents weren't that keen and it doesn't look much from outside. What a pleasant surprise when we got inside and saw the weird and wonderful mind tricks on display. It's not fancy, but it doesn't need to be. We were totally engrossed for a good... More

It was worth the money just as we enjoyed the puzzles and illusions. It is however mainly aimed at children and our experience was maybe a little dampened by unruly rude kids pushing their way in front of us. Maybe this would be better out of season!!

Great little place - price on entry reflects the amount of time spent here. Some great illusions - dogs are allowed in which is a bonus- not sure on accessibility as there was a flight of stairs to climb so I don't know if there's a lift. Would recommend as very quirky.

We loved going here with our kids. They really enjoyed it and there is also a shop where you can buy stuff to bring home with you.

What a fun place for only £3.75 per adult. Lots to do and lots of fun to have with kids or like us just adults. Free puzzle area inside also. Shop for puzzles to purchase. No toilet or drink area.

My 11 year old wanted to go so badly, I agreed. I think I enjoyed it more than him. Everyone in the place was laughing and having such a great time. Very worth going to even if it is not raining!

The clue is in the name. Lots of optical illusion type exhibits that really confuse the senses. Great fun to be had.

Having had our outdoorsy plans curtailed by a very soggy day we popped into Keswick and decided to give The Puzzling Place a whirl. We weren't disappointed. If you have any interest in fooling your brain and confusing your eyes then this is the place to go. The explanations were pretty clear, although understanding why the illusions worked didn't detract... More
