When we first arrived at the campsite we were greeted and reception by a very friendly lady who showed us on a map where to go and where to find everything. We set up out tent on one of the tent hookup pitches which were well spaced. Everyone there was very friendly. The toilets and showers were cleaned throughout the day and were always spotless. The TV room was great for people to get warm and dry after a rain shower. The town of Hawkshead is 5-10 minute walk from the site down a riverside path (theres no lights so take a torch) Would highly recommend and will visit again!

The campsite is a short walk to Hawkshead village along a little stream. The site is extremely clean, tidy and well maintained. The toilet and shower facilities are spotless and regularly cleaned. The site is peaceful with well spaced out pitches and lovely views. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Great campsite. Pitches are well spaced out. Our hardstanding pitch had space for our van and a decent sized awning and still had a grass area for sitting out. The shower block was nice and clean, providing an indoor area for washing up, a laundry room, clean and bright toilets and good showers. There’s also a TV Room but we didn’t use it. Strong, stable wi-fi connection. The village of Hawkshead, which has a good selection of shops and pubs, is a short walk away along a path next to a stream. There are plenty of paths nearby for dog walking. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again.
