The gingerbread is amazing, remember to buy more than you think you need as once you try it you will not want to share it with anybody else. You will also struggle to leave the shop as the smell is delightful.

Long queue snaking outside the Gingerbread shop did not put us off and we duly purchased a large supply of this unique delicacy including a piece to eat on site. Just love the smell from the shop.

A visit to Grasmere without buying some gingerbread would never cross my mind. Over the years my daughters have enjoyed this delight and now they are no longer children but at University they always ask me to bring back some gingerbread from the shop! Part of the joy was the smell and the warmth of the gingerbread maybe I caught... More

Just a little quirky shop alongside the church yard selling almost one item - gingerbread. For those that like history then this shop started life as the church school in 1630.

Great quirky shop. My husband loves this stuff. Small shop with a big heart especially if you love gingerbread.

This little place is not only quaint and a step back in time but has the most amazing gingerbread in the lakes. Well worth a visit.

I wish I lived a bit closer so I could have a daily fix of this unique gingerbread. So different to the norm and so tasty. The shop has a lovely old world atmosphere and has other products too. The smell whilst walking past will stop you in your tracks! Thank you

The smell as you enter this little shop is amazing! The staff are lovely & the gingerbread is amazing! The warm ginger beer was a welcome treat on a cold morning 😊 Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for something authentic from the lakes.
