Amazingly in 2019, the kind of ignorance & prejudice that was very common in the last century is still alive & kicking in Grasmere Garden Village. We visited yesterday and at every till is a notice stating they will not accept Scottish money.
Went to Grasmere last week to enjoy a shopping experience at the garden center. I’ve got to say it was really disappointing, were was the Christmas display? Staff definitely looked fed up and not the usual upbeat atmosphere. And the toilets were out of order!...More
