Isited in August 2018, i found the place to be a real gem the staff were very friendly and informative. Dove cottage is a real treasure. The cat parking fee was not excessive either.

Not being that interested in wordsworth, I wasn't too excited by this museum and tour...But what a brilliant surprise..Fascinating and excellently well done. Loads of brilliant original details in the house with a very knowledgeable guide. Well worth a visit.

Hi Jo, As others have indicated, we don't allow dogs in the Cottage or Museum, but they are welcome in the cafe and there are lots of dog friendly walks around.
