Visited for a quick drink before doing an escape room a couple of doors up. Wow, is all I can say, and not in a good way. The pub is clean, and drinks are really cheap (what they actually have anyway). But that is all...More

Quiet place. It's a Sam Smiths pub so plenty of Sam Smiths taps and bottles. Taps are ridiculously cheap. I paid 2.30 for a pint of SS stout. No wifi

The quality of the beer is very good and the service is brilliant. I just wish they smartened the place up a little bit. The prices are very reasonable.

We went in for a drink about 2.30 pm. Many pubs close 2pm but the city centre ones tend to stay open all afternoon. Yorkshire people are friendly and there is no difficulty getting into a conversation if you so wish. Bear in mind that...More

It's a bit tired and dated décor wise, but then again, many of Sam's pubs are. Friendly managers, very friendly locals, and it's a proper locals and drinker's pub, not some trendy watering hole. Good pint of OB. Worth a visit.
