Visited here yesterday with friends (10 in total) booked in for food. This place is lovely with great views over the golf course. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food was amazing. We all had something different and all 10 dishes came out together, we will definitely be returning great place.

It is lovely and clean, the staff are friendly and helpful but I’m afraid the meal wasn’t very nice. A few of us had beef stroganoff which I haven’t tried before, the sauce was lovely and so was the chips but the beef was so tough that you couldn’t eat some of it and you had to chew forever on what we did eat. I won’t be having beef stroganoff again.

I have been playing this course for years it is a public council course not a lot of etiquette shown here when playing golf it used to be a good club to be a member of you could relax after a round of golf with a few reasonably priced beers and a game of snooker but since the club has been refurbished and managed privately they only think of private functions and priced it out of range of The estate peoples pockets I and quite a lot of my friends have not used this club since

Christmas dinner was awful. We went last year (Christmas 2017) it was lovely and the staff where so helpful so we expected the same again. We couldn't have been more wrong! I don't know whats changed but something has and we will not be returning and i urge you to do the same. Really bad management and not organised well at all. Christmas day 2018 was ruined!

Popped to the Lodge on an impromptu visit and boy am I glad we did. The food is absolutely beautiful and reasonably priced. Left feeling overfull after ordering the kebab, the presentation was great too, best chunky chips I,ve had in a long time. Will def visit again to try more from the menu.

Course in poor condition, greens been long all year,hitting middle of the fairway today and like being the rough on some holes,not worth £17 when a private better maintained course like ganstead is a similar price

Food yet again was delicious. The home made chips are amazing,a must. I had cheese burger that was yummy especially with their sauce. My friend had scampi it was spot on. Definitely will be returning.

First time visit, what a lovely setting and clean stylish resteraunt. Very friendly staff even the chefs. Service was quick. Food was of good quality too.
