2 floors of dinosaurs=happy kids. Granted, to an adult it might not look like much. The kids adore this place though.

went in after going round the freedom festival on Sunday 4th.cost us £15 for a year pass for the 5 of us pretty cheap but I still think it's expensive for what's inside. I don't think their is a genuine fossil in the place.there is a few plastic and rubber skulls and heads some mock bones and some plastic models.the... More

Thank you for your review. We believe that our Dinosaur Experience represents good value for money and our Annual Family Pass even better value. The Pass admits two adults and four children to our museum as many times as you want for 12 months. Our museum includes numerous genuine fossils. These include our Psittacosaurus skeleton, our dinosaur egg display, rare... More

Great little museum for a pop in for the kids, lots of informative things to do. Not very big but it's all crammed in very well.

Lovely little museum. Very small but a lot to see and do, a lot of love has clearly gone in to it. Perfect for little dinosaur fans!

Thank you for your kind words. As you saw, our museum is full of displays and activities. Our main problem is fitting in new exhibits each year! More

Visited with my family after a visit to the Deep ,good location (when all the roadworks have been done) 5 mins walk from the deep and hull centre ,cheap to get in,lots of interactive bits and pieces for kids and those that refuse to grow up.Would benefit from having more soft/plush dinosaur toys available in the shop for young children.

From the outside this looks like like an abandoned 90's lazer quest. Inside however, it's a charming, well put together museum made by people that have clearly spent a lot of time and love into it. Adults were £3, children were £1.50, small ones free. All of mine (18m-15y) had a good time here for just under 2 hrs. Lots... More

Thank you for your great review. The area around Dinostar is being regenerated so in the next 12 months the “abandoned” appearance of the street will gradually disappear! More

Very small but held 3 year olds attention and was perfect as hubby was waiting for us outside with the dogs. Some great models and thoughtful games for the children to play. Particularly the brushing the sand off the bones and small world dinosaur play. Good value for money.

despite the difficulty of getting there due to roads closed for an upcoming music festival, it was worth the trek and lots to do for a couple of hours for kids. Obviously proprietors are keen on dinosaurs and it's educational , fun and very good value for a school hols half day focus point.Short walk from marina or princess quay... More

Thank you for your review. Festivals do cause some minor disruption to access by car but they are also an exciting time. You might like to consider visiting Hull during the Freedom Festival in September. More

Really nice little museum. Totally unexpected from looking at the building from outside. Lots of nice little exhibits, and some quite large. You could really easily spend half a day or more here with a young child. Lots to do upstairs, definitely recommend this place.

Many thanks for your comments. You are right in saying that our museum is designed to be “child friendly” – hands-on and interactive. I hope that you will visit us again when you are next in Hull. 2017 will be a big year for our city when we are the UK City of Culture. More
