Lovely place to visit
Jul 2021 • Couples
We visited on a Sunday morning and were the only people there for the first hour. Beautiful rocks with stunning views. Highly recommended, but not with small children as can be slippery and no barriers.

A wonderfu evening, everything was perfect
Jul 2021
We had a private party of 10 people on a Saturday night, part of my wife's 70th birthday. The venue, the food, and the service were top class, I would recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food and ambience.

It’s been a while since we visited, due to Covid. We were not disappointed. No set menu choice now but a good selection of meals to choose from. We were delighted to see Laszlo, the waiter, still working there. He goes the extra mile to make your meal feel special. Never disappointed and look forward to going again soon. A great place to spend a leisurely meal.

Fun exploration
Jun 2021
My wife and I walked here from Tunbridge Wells as we had seen some signposts and wanted to explore.

£5 a ticket seems a little steep, especially considering all the limitations it suggests i.e. no under 18's, no picnics, no dogs etc. However, as a couple it was a fun place to explore for an hour or two, getting lost in the rock formations and the small bridges.

Also be sure to bring your own refreshments, there aren't many places to buy them and those that do charge a premium.

Most amazing wedding venue!
May 2021 • Friends
We had our wedding at High rocks last week, after having to postpone twice due to the pandemic. The team were so incredibly helpful given the situation, and their terms were more than fair. All correspondence with them has been so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We absolutely had the best day ever, better than we ever imagined and I am so grateful to everyone at High Rocks! The venue itself is just stunning and the perfect backdrop for photos. The food was unbelievable, we had the Beef Wellington and all our guests loved it and commented on the quality of the food. The team went above and beyond and could not have done more to help us. Cannot recommend this wedding venue highly enough!

Do not book a wedding with this venue
Apr 2021 • Business
After this terrible year I had to cancel my wedding. Since then the management have been nothing but rude and abrupt with me. They have no empathy and are sharp and very critical when emailing you. They refuse to call and never once reached out. I have lots of other friends that have been in the same situation and have had nothing but support and kindness from their venues.

The management completely let this venue down.

We understand that anything other than complete agreement can offend, however, we feel it important to correct matters that we feel are inaccurately represented. It was clear from early on that it was important to keep our correspondence in writing. This is proof that our replies to your many emails have been polite, considerate and helpful. You emailed in Autumn of last year regarding the possible cancelation of your forthcoming Wedding, due to the uncertainty of the current situation. Since then we have been extremely accommodating and have offered to hold your Wedding for a smaller permissible number, we have offered future alternative dates for you to re-schedule to, and we have even agreed to you holding a function in place of your Wedding. We have been nothing but supportive in trying to accommodate your needs.

Walking the rocks
Aug 2020
Good price to enter, buy tickets from the bar opposite entrance. Bridges over crags, lovely woodland setting. Years of history ! what more could you want. Takes around two hours to fully enjoy and see the main sites. Very enjoyable worth every penny. Thanks for the day out.

Unparalleled
Sep 2020 • Couples
My husband I came for a meal and a wander around the rocks yesterday as a belated anniversary because of lockdown and it was simply amazing! The staff are so kind and welcoming and helped to really make the experience feel so special - they went over and above that I was smiling from ear to ear for hours! As always the rocks were spectacular (we spent 1 1/2 hours exploring) and the food was exquisite (you have to try the goats cheese tart - it was perfection). They even helped us to find our car keys in the dark as I hadn't realised that I'd dropped them when exploring the rocks and they did it without any fuss. This really is a special place - if you haven't been, you need to go and if you're thinking of returning then you just need to do it. I'm really not normally the sort of person who gushes about things, but yesterday was one of my best post lockdown experiences this year. Thank you so much to everyone at High Rocks and we'll see you again soon :)

Brilliant

We had a meal at High Rocks for our should have been wedding day. The food, service and welcome were fantastic. The staff at High Rocks are always so welcoming and helpful. We booked our meal at High Rocks as we were due to be getting married there on the same day. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, we have had to postpone to next year. We cannot thank the High Rocks team enough for their assistance, help and support in rearranging our wedding to next year. Nothing ever feels too much trouble, the team respond quickly and they have made moving our wedding feel so easy at such a stressful time for both us and them.
Although we have not had our wedding yet, we feel confident and safe in the hands of the High Rocks team.
