Beautiful views, with a chance to stop and relax with a cuppa or cocktail. Friendly people and a lovely walk.

A fabulous place to visit, its like being abroad! Some lovely boats to admire in the Marina, lots of fishing boats and windfarm boats in the outer harbour. There are plenty of places to eat in and enjoy the views, such as the Harbour Brasserie or Bon Appetite and for those not hungry there are plenty of bars and coffee... More

The harbour itself consists of 2 walks, towards Margate, you walk along a long wall looking out over it onto golden sands and the coast of France,... More

After a trip down from the north to stay in the local travelodge before heading out on the dover ferry, being able to take a rest here and watch the goings on was lovely. I'm told parts of Ramsgate aren't great (the public toilets for one) but this isn't one of them.
