We took our 6 year-old granddaughter on this trip and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Skipper Tony was very informative both about the seals and other wildlife, and also about the history and geography of the area. We saw over 40 seals, including adults and younger seals. Tony steered the boat quite close to the seals without spooking them, so we got fantastic views of them.

Well organised, with a thorough safety briefing and social distancing. We especially appreciated that when we called to tell Tony we were running ever so slightly late due to a traffic jam, he kept in contact and waited 5 minutes for us to get to the harbour so that we did not miss the trip.

Thoroughly recommended for all ages.

This 90 minute trip takes you out of the harbour off towards Pegwell Bay to the mouth of the River Stour where a colony of seals live, taking advantage of the low tide water levels to catch their fish. The small boat has a quiet engine and can get very close - without disturbing them. We saw cormorants, egrets, herons, many types of hull and hundreds of seals, mostly sunning themselves on the bank. Tony was informative and an experienced skipper navigating the low waters. A really great trip, highly recommended. Covid safe too. Just brilliant.

90 minute trip to sea the seals and wildlife in the Stour estuary. Tony was a great skipper, very friendly and explaining both the safety on the boat and what we should hopefully see during the trip. Boat takes approx 10 people per trip and has distance and screens for COVID safety. Weather was a bit blustery during our trip but Tony made it as comfortable as possible and got up to a close but safe distance for us to easily see the seals.

Great trip!

Captain Tony took it nice & easy to avoid the spray & kept us entertained with stories from his sailing career. I recommend to anyone looking to break up their holiday with something to do with the family. Seals are crazy animals and there were plenty! Some even followed us back!

We had a beautiful day for the boat trip not a cloud in the sky but the best bit was the amount of seals lying in the sunshine on the marshy banks of the river. There were far more than I expected and they were all different colours and sizes that surprised me. Tony gave us a talk about the seal population and it was very intresting and I liked the fact that the seals are well respected by the boat owners who turn the engines off and keep a distance so as not to upset or spook them. A bonus as we left a few seals went into the water and swam around infront of us. We all agreed it was a wonderful trip and we would love to do it again. Thank you Tony

The little boat and its captain leave from Ramsgate marina to head to the colony of seals along the Stour, and it's just a great way to spend an hour and a half. The captain is knowledgeable about local history, birdlife and the colony. Perfect for all ages. So wonderful to be able to be so close to such great creatures.

Lovely sunny day and a very calm experience. Great to see the seals and so much birdlife. Captain Tony was professional, friendly and very informative about this interesting region. My 90 year old dad was well taken care of which was much appreciated

Amazing service and polite, friendly, knowledgable captain. Very respectful when near seals and not stressing them at all, giving them plenty of room whilst still being close enough to see the seals up close. Highly recommend

What a friendly and enjoyable 20 min trip around the harbour. A bargain at only £4
Would recommend. And because it's inside the harbour wall it remains calm so good for even the poorest sailors.

It was quite chilly. We should have taken warmer coats! Even though the sun was out.
It was expensive £100 for 3 adults and 3 children.
But the kids enjoyed it and the seals were definitely worth seeing.
