Dover White Cliff Tours offers sight seeing tours in and around Dover.

Take a novelty 40 minute boat ride around Dover's bay, on a historical wooden boat built in 1935. On the trip you will receive a commentary from the captain and any children who want to will be invited up to steer the boat.

Or take a short bus ride up into Dover's Cliffs to see some amazing hidden history:

St Martin's gun battery (WWII defensive structure), the Drop Redoubt (one of the biggest Napoleonic fortifications in Europe), Dover's historic town and much more; all with a running commentary. Get the chance to stand on the white cliffs and walk off into the sun.

We have enjoyed the people of England and have done many tours during our 10 days here. We had heard about Dover Castle and the white cliffs of Dover and thought it would be a good way to wrap up our trip. The castle and cliffs are amazing, not to be missed but AVOID this tour operator. Like the other... More

On our last day in England we wanted a local to show us around Dover. The name is miss leading because he said we could only spend 15 minutes to look around the white cliffs. These are one of the great parts of Dover and we only spend 15 minutes there. Then at the castle he wanted us to spend... More

This 40 minute tour out into the Dover harbor was interesting and exciting. Great to see the cliffs and the harbor from the sea, and to glimpse the swimmers practicing for the Channel Crossing. The cafe on the pier leading to the boat was charming.

We really wanted to see the Dover Cliffs from sea and this Harbour Cruise was cheap and under an hour in time. Staying within the harbour makes this cruise very safe and sedate, great for children or elderly. You do get to see Dover Castle and Cliffs from the sea, but it is essentially a harbour cruise.

It starts as boat tour around the bay. There were very few people (working day in summer at 12:00). You can see Dover from the sea, including famous white cliffs and the castle. We couldn't really hear what the guide/driver was telling us because of the noise of the engine, but the view was very nice. Then you can continue... More

The captain and owner of the company was very accommodating. We had a trip of the harbour with very interesting historical facts woven into the trip. Had a good view of the cliffs. The boat trip was followed by a bus ride and a short walk on the cliffs. Excellent value for money.

Dover is not a busy tourist center. We wanted to see the white cliffs, and Richard (owner) was very accommodating and pleasant. We called during the week before we traveled from London and found out that they only took bookings on weekends. So call ahead to be sure they are taking bookings for the day you want to visit. Richard... More

Despite the other, more popular White Cliffs boat tour being sold out, we were overjoyed to get a spot on this one. Sure, it doesn't leave the bay, but you still get an excellent view of the cliffs at a fraction of the cost. Not to mention, the captain even lets you have a go at driving the boat! At... More
