We went on a day that was supposed to be clear, but the fog was so thick it wouldn't lift. It wasn't raining but the mist from there fog was so heavy we got drenched walking along the cliff side. Nonetheless it was a fun and memorable experience and the fog lifted just enough before we had to leave that... More

Lovely walk along the White Cliffs. Very up and down along the cliffs, though there is a flatter walk to return, if wanted. It was a beautiful day and it was possible to see France.

Old equipment and sound effects brought wartime hospital to life. If short for time this visit is less than 30mins. You are shown around as a group .

I think this might be est viewed from the water. As you walk along the rolling green hills there are only a couple of spots where you can glimpse the white cliffs. Outside of the 'park' you can see the white cliffs from the waterfront near the port of dover, but this is not like the pictures that are shown... More

Iconic, beautifully maintained, breath-taking views. Safe paths for children and animals, however can get closer to the edge of the cliffs if one is brave enough and don't mind heights. Lots of parking and footpaths to other locations nearby. A great day out, especially with children, take a picnic

You can't go to Dover and not see the White Cliffs. Our recommendation is to take a taxi up to the area where you can view them by walking, vs. the boat tour in the harbor.

Who hasn't heard of the "white cliffs of Dover"? I am only sorry to have seen them from the ferry as we crossed the English Channel to France, but thinking back to what it must have been like during WW2 was a powerful moment. On my next visit, I plan to hike them.

I was there on June, the weather was cloudy but warm. The views are really nice but the most important is that it is really quiet. I felt really calm those hours I spent there and it was a great change from busy London.

Its always nice when returning from France on a sunny day to see the cliffs from the sea, its a pity that there is so much of them falling away. Everytime we return we notice there are new falls nothing big but just enough to see how bad the erosion is.

Beautiful grounds, trails; both high and low. Fee to drive into White cliffs 3.5 pounds, per car. There is a restaurant and parking. You could spend hours walking the trails, views of water, castle and lighthouse.
