the walk was well worth it, even if my partner and i did visit on arguably one of the hottest days of 2020. the experience you will have will definitely rely on the weather and how prepared you are for it so beware of that! we were absolutely exhausted by the time we were finally on the cliffs, but the views were beautiful and i recommend everyone to visit the cliffs if you get the chance. i'd love to return in a cooler month to do a longer walk too!…

Well, the attraction certainly live up to its name. They are most definitely cliffs, and they are most definitely white. If that’s what you’re after, your luck is in and you should definitely visit. Prepare for plenty of mud, and if you’re not in suitable footwear, an episode of Dancing on Ice if you’re going for a walk, but the views are impressive, as are the winds - make sure you hold onto your hat. …

We visited on a rainy day in October but we still had such a great time! It’s a pretty demanding walk when it’s wet as it becomes very slippery but still really glad we visited!

We parked at St Margaret's at Cliffe and walked over lighthouse down to Dover Castle and back. Excellent walk despite the rain. Lovely views. It took the three of us roughly 2hrs each way this included a couple of photo stops only so allow more time if you were planning to stop for a picnic or refreshments etc. Parts of the walk were quite wet underfoot and we did see people in rather impractical shoes - this is most definitly a country walk over natural terrain and not a paved walk. …
