It's a nice venue with an old fashioned feel to it. I went to see a show there and was impressed. Not to big, not to small. And the acoustics are good. It is well worth visiting.

We went to see the fabulous matinee "Ninety Glorious Years" at the Central Theatre on Tuesday 5 July. Since moving into the area, we have visited this lovely traditional 960 seat theatre, which I understand was first opened in 1908 as the "Wesleyan Central Hall" and was only changed to an entertainment venue in 1966, many times. It boasts a... More

This Theatre is situated in Chatham High Street and seats about 960 people, the only downside is there isn't much leg room. The staff are very helpful too. My Husband and myself had seats in the Circle and had a great view of the stage. We will be booking again in the future. All in all a good night. Payment... More

Go into the upper level as people get up to dance in place on the lower level blocking the view of the stage for the rest of the audience. At the upper level people tend to get up and dance to the music in the isles which only blocks some of the audience views which are canted anyway whereas on... More

This is my local and I recently went to see Billy Ocean though I come every year to the Panto and I also saw Mike and the Mechanics when they were in town - a fantastic area, and really up close and personal unlike these major ones in London where you're miles away.

Went to see Chas and Dave as a Christmas pressent from my daughter but thanks to the LACK of staff the unrulely (and anebriated in most cases) were left to run riot in front of the stage and they also ignored the instructions from Chas to keep it clear. Plus thanks to them, a couple of songs were disrupted and... More

I'm a big man and found seat size and leg room a challenge, but then seating in planes is also a challenge.. Atmosphere intimate and friendly. Went to see a Pink Floyd tribute band, great sing along and had a good time. Tickets a little on the expensive side for a provincial theater. .
