Nice little zoo, kids 8 & 5 seemed to enjoy it. Map they provided was slightly out dated as animals had been moved. Lots of monkeys, kids got bored of seeing them after a while, limited wild life outside of monkeys, but they loved the gorillas, they have two different displays of gorillas. Restaurant food was tasty but again limited... More

Took our Grandson here for the day. Unfortunately it was very cold but we did see the marvellous range of animals. The Tigers were our favourites especially the one that jumps up at the glass to frighten the spectators. Good coffee stops. Which were very welcome the day we went! Several other eateries for lunch etc. Good day out

I have an annual passport for Howletts. I'm completely obsessed with a tiger there called Arina. Great day out for families, couples, friends or even solo! I've managed to get some great shots on my canon. Large park for kiddies with outdoor seating, ideal for a picnic. Food outlets throughout the park. Not too expensive. Definitely worth a visit!

Managed to spend all day here with two 5 year olds and a 2 year old. They all loved it. The animals look so healthy and having to look carefully for some of them made it all the more exciting for the children. I highly recommend for a day out.

This Zoo is ok for a couple of hours but the kids started to get a bit bored and we were sick of the sight of monkeys by the end. All different monkeys but as a kid once you have seen 5 species and there's more to come you kind of get bored Kids enjoyed play area and restaurant was... More

I was sorry to learn that you were disappointed by your visit. We have 50 different species and 450 animals and they are kept in the wild state so are never locked out of their sleeping areas, so we do ask for some patience on your visit. I do hope you will visit again as it can be a different... More

we took our 14 month old son here, who was maybe a bit too young to appreciate it, but he seemed to enjoy himself anyway. Myself and my partner really enjoyed ourselves and we are looking forward to going again when our son is a bit older

Visited today with my son for his 8th birthday, first time visiting this park as we normally go to Port Lympne, this park is just as good, if not better, the walk around was enjoyable, not too busy, grounds clean and tidy and polite staff, there were some enclosures where we couldn't see any of the animals, but this is... Deciding upon a last minute day trip in the morning, we decided to head off to Howletts zoo as its one we hadn't visited before. This turned out to be a great idea as we weren't disappointed at all! We arrived at around 1pm and online it stated the closing time was 5pm but when we arrived there was a... More
