Nice local pub, not sure how big the chain is but very homely feel and welcoming staff. Food is always good and it's got a decent outside area for warm evenings.

Great for a pint with mates. Plenty of seating, TVs for the footie or F1 and a great atmosphere. Beer is reasonably cheap and the staff are pleasant and friendly. They also have a restaurant. Recommended if you’re in St Albans.

Always a warm welcome. Plenty of choices of ales (most of the time so long as they're not all settling!) Food reasonable value. Can get busy. Plenty of parking but this can get busy too! ;-)

We visited the King William a week ago for an early evening meal just following the recent refurbishment. The food was excellent and the new menu offered a wider variety of dishes than previously. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the refurbishment has really...More

Visited here for lunch with elderly parents. I had Ribs and I can honestly say they were tasteless, they came with frozen chips and a bit of salad. Also a small pot of what was meant to be bar-b-q sauce, this was more like a...More
