After walking a good 3 miles of the Alban way which in itself was interesting as it was the old railway line linking St Albans to Hatfield,there seemed to be plenty of little paths off the Alban Way,the very trail being one of them. I...More

Walked along this trail from Park Street . Loved the views & the not too muddy paths. Lots of waterbirds to watch as well.

Lovely walk beside the river, we did the section from Bricket Wood into St Albans across open fields and beside the river itself.
