Overview
More
An eighteenth century working watermill museum and bakery. The mill produces organic stoneground flour and artisan loaves are handmade in the bakery. The majority of our organic grain is grown on a neighbouring farm giving our flour and bread the lowest "food-miles". There are four floors of the mill to explore and the mill's Crossley HD11 oil engine normally runs on Sunday afternoons.

Very interesting visit to a working mill. You can see flour being milled and then buy the result in the form of very nice bread in different forms. There is a nice Tea Shop there and lovely walks from the Ford.

Fantastic day yesterday baking lots of different breads, whole new experience for me as a refresher after qualifying too many years ago as a baker /confectioner in my youth. Steve was great answering all our questions, thoroughly good day. Recommend to all.

Admission to the Mill is free and there is no need to book for a visit to the Mill on Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon. Bookings for the baking class can be made by emailing the link on our website.

I am afraid we do not have the facilities to hold a wedding reception at the mill. Sorry!

No, I am afraid there is no cafe. The bakery sells bread and some cakes on a Saturday morning.
