We were pleasantly surprised whilst driving through Ledbury to see several marvellous Black & White timber built buildings, so much so that we stopped and walked around the streets.
Built in 1617 was this Market House, a wonderful building with outstanding architecture.

I spent a few hours visiting Ledbury on Monday 20/08/18.
Loads of history in all directions in Central Ledbury. Beautiful old archectecual buildings with cobble stone walkways towards the Church & a photographers dream.

Stopped here because grandmother was born in this area and would tell stories of the market, etc
The heritage center was filled with little pieces of history from here
Had lunch at a little shop and wandered the streets admiring the old buildings
Walking up Church Street we came across the Heritage Centre, which was having an open day ready for the Easter opening.

Situated in the middle of town, this fantastic building is a real eye-catcher when you first see it. The idea that such an old building is not only still standing, but is still being used by the people of Ledbury is marvellous.
