Visited today with four kids, ages 8, 11, 11 and 15, plus dog. Lots of activities for the younger children to do (adventure playground, fitness trail and maze) not so much for the oldest. The fact you can take the dog into the grounds and even round the castle is great and the walk round the lake is lovely. The... More

My wife and I, married at Eastnor Castle in July 2016. Our guests were completely blown away by the venue and beautiful surroundings. We were made to feel so special from the wedding fair / open days, during the lead up to, and on throughout our wedding and stay. Whilst, we had exclusive use of the Castle we were greeted... More

Visited with a young child and teenager. Lovely day out. There was a chilli festival during our visit so lots of extra activities going on.

A perfect family day, so long as the weathers ok, which it was for us. Reasonably priced lots to do for little ones although older children could find it a bit of a challenge. Plenty of space to make your own adventures though. Didn't go in the Castle, but would definitely do that next time. Grandchildren (5 and 8) enjoyed... More

Ok visit to castle and grounds. Special event on separate site which we did not visit. Warm welcome in entering castle, self guided, surprised to see dogs inside house whch was disruptive. Interesting trees in surrounding grounds and nice walks around lake and woodland. Good toilet facilities at castle entrance but dogs also in toilets and even in the hand... More

Dear VHMW Thank you for your recent review of Eastnor Castle and I am pleased you enjoyed your visit on the whole. In terms of dogs, we have always allowed well behaved dogs throughout the grounds and in the house and this has proved to be very popular. I would however agree that seeing dogs using the washbasins is unacceptable... More

Leaving the car park (which isn't that big) walk through the wooded area and up the main thoroughfare to the castle, the toilets in the archway are quite amazing! Although we had a map we got lost it wasn't so easy to find the footpath around the lake, you'll need trainers or very flat shoes as there are no 'real'... More

We spent a whole (wet) day at the chilli festival. There was so much to do and eat, and drink, and then eat more. It was a fantastic day. The castle and grounds really lend themselves to such events and it was a spectacular backdrop to the festival. Will be back next year. AWESOME

We were personally greeted by the owner of this 200 year old castle who was very generous with his time and gave us a grand tour including most of the 97 rooms all with interesting features and lovely views over the grounds. The 40 or so couples per year who are fortunate enough to have their weddings at Eastnor will... More

We visited for the vintage classic day. It was perfect for a young family, great facilities and lovely food from the cafe.
