When you first see this castle you immediately think you have seen it in a movie! It is a splendid building and it's Great Hall with it's huge height really shows what a medieval castle once looked like. The building is relatively modern and is lived in by it's owners family. The other rooms are in keeping with the rather... More

We visited using our English heritage card as it gave us 50% discount on the entry cost so it was a very cheap day out. We all had such a fun day, my girls are 8 and 12 and loved every minute. The play areas and maze are so much fun and the castle itself is stunning and the mouse... More

A beautiful castle amid lovely grounds including a superb lake. A lovely walk when the weather allows. I imagine a fab place for children to safely explore.

How many stately homes let you take a dog around the castle ? Eastnor Castle is an amazing place. Lots for kids and adults to do, really friendly staff, excellent tea rooms for a ploughjmans lunch or sandwich.

Eastnor is a favourite place for us locals to bring visiting friends and family and it is always a treat. Beautiful grounds and a fascinating castle filled with lovely things but the loveliest thing of all is the welcoming unstuffy atmosphere that everyone strives to create. Dogs are welcome everywhere even in the castle with its priceless artefacts, so no... More

I Love Eastnor, the Castle, the grounds, the Redwoods, the playground. It is a full day out whatever you do whether or not they have an event or not. A years family membership is £60 with unlimited access so great value. Beautiful, restful, easy to access, perfect for picnics and kids running wild. It's even doable in the rain as... More

Beautiful interior to the castle. Lovely guides. Special mention for Patricia, interesting and fun! Let me sit on the gigantic sofa. Afterwards we had lunch at their cafe, sitting outside in pleasant shady area. Next an ice cream, eaten following the tree route, a walk skirting the castle down to the lake. Lots for children to do, and dog friendly.... More

So glad we found this gem. Beautiful castle and grounds. Had a special day with our boys and will remember forever. Found a lovely picnic spot opposite the castle by the lake. Grounds clean and tidy. Toilet block a very good standard. An awesome day.

Hubby and I decided to go to Eastnor Castle and do both the gardens and the castle itself and judging by the rain clouds we decided to grab a coffee and slice of cake first and then go for a walk round the gardens. Sad to say the café was disappointing. Hubby had coffee (cold) and a slice of extremely... More
