Bar and bar tables in a barn building, whitewashed walls, simple tables and significantl rocket like log burner give the castle a unique ambience. Steaks were excellent with ample portions. Vegetables steamed and crunchy. Pint of wye valley ale. Very enjoyable

Just had a venison lunch. Followed by Eton mess. Absolutely beautiful everything done to perfection. This was my second visit the first a few weeks ago, I had a steak cooked as I asked again was fantastic. Great staff beer and food thank you.

2 seafood dishes, a steak and a pie with steamed veg (2 bits of broccoli).
