Went to this church, only to find locked glass panels blocking our entrance. We could see into the church but nothing else, other than opportunity to donate some money. Would happily have done so if we could get beyond the glass wall!

St.Francis Xaviers church, free to enter and just take in this unique deco and beautiful architecture. A peaceful place to sit and absorb a calming atmosphere. Visited on the way to the cathedral.

On the outside, this church just looks like a regular standard church. Inside the architecture is amazing, the decor is beautiful! So much to see inside and it’s so huge! Very impressed.

This is a stunning church from the outside and from the inside too. It is hard to believe it was built in the 19th century. Unfortunately as with other churches it is locked however you can at least go into the porch and view the...More

The architecture of SFX church seems out of place in Hereford with it sandstone building and Black and White House . It is a richly decorated church which is worth a visit if your on your way to the Cathedral or the river .

Well worth a visit if you are in Hereford. The interior will be like stepping into a Florentine church or anywhere in a big Italian city. For this experience alone, a visit is recommended.

This is a beautiful church built in the 1830s. It holds the hand of Englands oldest martyr, St John Kemble in the reliqury at the top right hand side of the altar. The 14 stations of the cross are duplicates of ones made for the...More
