Excellent tour around the cheese making dairy - guide was clear and interesting. Happy to let the children come back to watch the different stages of the making. Cafe served great food - definitely recommend the Monkland and Little Hereford cheese.

Really pleased to come across this little gem on our travels, the sign said cheese making, cheese shop .... Fab! Nothing like watching the pro's in action and sampling the wares before purchase. Arrived to find it was JUST a shop and a small cafe,...More

We went out of our way to visit Monkland Cheese Dairy and it was a total waste of time. The place was far smaller than expected and there wasn't a lot on offer that couldn't have been purchased elsewhere. My biggest complaint was the customer...More

Great to visit and see cheese made in a small family run dairy. Able to taste the cheese at various points of production. Had a great cheese and biscuit snack afterwards.

An enjoyable and interesting experience. If you want to do the tour, come on a Monday or Wednesday as these are the only cheese making days (and best before midday). After the tour, we stayed on for a ploughman's lunch. Very tasty.

Amazing to see the cheese making process, smell the new batches and learn the tech info, from the friendly staff. Easy to find and park and with a lovely shop and cafe. Well worth the trip....
