Been on several tours of food and drink places but this was head and shoulders above the rest. Yes they are a very small outfit, but this allows a very personal experience (especially when more than ten of us were all crammed into a cheese fridge together!). They also managed to explain in a way that people of all ages... More

Really enjoyed learning about cheese from here. Very knowledgeable owner. Beautiful tasting cheeses and a lovely setting. We need to do more to support independent cheese makers like this

We stopped by for cheese and left with cider too. A good selection accompanied by a cafe too, well worth a passing visit.

We visited Monkland last year when in Hereford and couldn't resist visiting again to pick up more cheese. We also had a cup of tea and a delicious carrot cake. Nice outdoor seating when the sun is shining with a pretty little garden. The shop also sells quince jelly which you don't often find. A super little place.

We had a lovely little visit to the Cheese Dairy. The ladies were friendly and fun. It was fascinating to see how the cheese is made. We also enjoyed trying the cheese! The coffee and cake were great too. Not a big place but worth a visit if you are passing. Tours aren't everyday.

I think we must have gone at the wrong time. When we arrived there was no cheese making and no your, perhaps we were too late in the day. The cafe was lovely and we tasted some lovely cheeses. They also sold a fantastic local gin. Disappointed we didn't see any cheese being made but a good cafe all the... More

Stumbled across this small venue by chance and what a treat. I have never seen cheese being made before and it was fascinating. A great guide and a great tour with things to touch, see and of course taste.Great shop and a nice cafe. Lovely walks nearby. Plenty of parking. About £3 per person.

This is a great tour. The cheese maker is an excellent guide, making cheese exciting and a lot of fun. You get to see the whole process, even the fridge where it all cures and moulds for a few months. There was also a chance to taste a number of varieties of their cheese. I appreciate the classic style and... More
