Lovely staff, clean fresh facilities, and best of all, something for kids and adults of all ages. The older ones can go play golf or laser tag, or even axe throwing, while the younger ones can play in the soft play area. They all loved the arcade - air hockey was a big hit. The only downside is lack of wheelchair access to the laser tag, but you can get wheelchairs through the cafe, arcade and axe throwing, and the accessible loo is good access, big enough for wheelchair user and assistant if needed. Not changing places size - but there is a changing places facility 5 minutes walk away.

I am a frequent visitor to Hereford and my daughter and I cannot get enough of this place. We always pay at least one visit every time I’m in the city. Mini golf and axe throwing are particular favourites but just as much as those, we love the arcades and the amazing staff, who recognise us instantly even after a month has passed and are always super friendly and helpful (big shouts to Rich, Jamie and the manager dude with long hair who’s name escapes me). If you’re a first time visitor to Hereford this is an essential evening out. It really is difficult to have more fun anywhere else. We will be back again and again.

Brilliant place and a good use of the increasing amount of empty retail premises. Our axe throwing instructor was brilliant (Emma). However be sure you have signed the waiver when booking, to ensure a prompt start to the axe throwing. Very time consuming if you do it when you arrive. Waivers have to be signed for/by each person taking part too. Even with this little hiccup (which was probably our fault for not reading all the conditions and instructions) we had a great time.

Looking at some of the reviews for this establishment makes me think they have been completed by friends and family. We did the crazy golf which is disappointing to say the least. The man serving us was totally over the top and made comments to my partner that is not acceptable. I went to the toilet and he approached my partner saying he has been a long time he’s probably gone for a poo. Who says this. I’m not surprised that on a Saturday afternoon this place was empty with staff members playing the axe throwing game. Really don’t waste your money £28.00 for two adults and a 5 yr old for the worst crazy golf in the world.

Went to the matrix with my boyfriend and had an amazing experience. We did mini golf which we’ve both done before and it was brilliant. However, both of us did axe throwing there for the first time and it was brilliant. Rich showed us how to do it and have us the brief and he was amazing!! He was so fun and enthusiastic and helpful and welcoming and made the experience that much better!!

Honestly, I love this place! I've been a couple of times now to do axe throwing and once to do mini golf. The staff are absolutely lovely, really friendly. Recognised and remembered me from the first time I went with a big group. Axe throwing is definitely my favourite, and I will definitely be back :)

Such a fantastic venue! We booked lazertag, ping pong and crazy golf online for specific times. It a bit busy so Jamie let us swap around our activities so that the kids weren't waiting around. Sam was super helpful with explaining the venue as well. Great prices and very clean. Definitely coming back. Only downside was limited hot food so popped out for lunch and came back again. Absolutely recommending Matrix to my friends!

Visited with grandchildren. We all thoroughly enjoyed all the attractions including mini-golf, laser tag and axe throwing. Great fun. Very friendly staff and great tuition. Children loved the games area. Coffee and ice cream was of good quality and reasonably priced. The kids both want to have their birthday parties here.

Booked soft play here for 2 children. Amazing atmosphere, staff very friendly, lots of choices of drinks & snacks available. Chocolate milkshakes were lovely! Kids loved the arcade, toilets were very clean & staff members cleaning throughout visit. Would highly recommend this place the kids loved it. Will definitely be going back to use other facilities available too.

Was a good day out with friends, reasonably priced, and it's something different to do in Hereford. We did the Laser Tag and mini golf. The activities themselves are small and not that exciting, but with a good group of friends you can make it fun. The neon decorations of the mini golf were also super cool and a great photo opportunity.
