Good but I had my neptew and niece aged 9 and 13 and I felt they hood bored as the they was not a lot for them to inact with for example you could have a quiz for them to do or find the letter. The wording of the displays was long and hard to read for young children. But... More

Fab enthusiastic guide in the house was so please and asked if we'd like a little more info about the house and history etc, really lovely lady. We had actually passed this in the evening a few days earlier and didn't realise it was open to the public, would maybe recommend better signage around the house itself. Free entry and... More

Located right in the middle of town and the pedestrian shopping area, its Tudor look gives it the appearance of touristy knock off. Not so. It’s the real deal --- a home occupied starting in the 1600’s --- and we were absolutely delighted that we took the time to explore its three floors. It’s free and doesn’t take long, but... More

The bank gave the building to the town after using it for a bank in Hereford. It is slap bang in the centre and it so wonderfully ancient - a must visit

If you like Elizabethan period reproduction - this is for you. Fronted by an enormous statue of a Hereford bull, this building represents a dark age of architecture. Heating was expensive so natural light through windows was at a premium. It is dark. Inside some interesting period paintings from an unknown artist, surrounded by carved dark oak furnishings over a... More

Well I live in Hereford but my partner does not so we went in and she loved it, what's more it is free entry and all they ask is a donation if you choose too, not mandatory, well worth taking 30 mins out of your day to go I there.

Standing in the heart of the city centre thousands of people walk by this amazing building and don't give it a second glance. It is out if place amongst the modern High Town buildings but most definitely worth a look inside. Entry is free and there was a very welcoming and informative person waiting to greet you.The building and its... More

Fascinating medieval building housing interesting exhibits - mainly furniture of the period. As it is an old building the floors (of lovely old oak) are uneven and stairs steep so not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. And it is free to visit! After seeing all the old buildings in Hereford from the outside it was great to see one... More
