Small but substantial cheese shop

Run by a very knowledgeable lady who recommended a couple of excellent local cheeses. Good supply of Peters Yard crackers which are fabulous.

Very poor service. Never received items after there was a delay with courier. Company after 6 weeks of chasing refuse to refund me. Do not shop there

A little bit of Cheese Heaven in Hereford
Nov 2019 • Friends
The Hereford shop is situated in Church Street, a beautifully, calm and scenic haven situated almost in the shadow of Hereford Cathedral. Customers have an amazing choice of cheeses from far and wide with a great representation of local produce. The staff are always enthusiastic and attentive and are very happy to guide and advise on the myriad of different varieties and types 0f cheese. If you have a particular cheese that you want it's always worth a quick phone call to check availability, the staff will make sure that your choice is ready and waiting when you arrive in the shop. Don't miss out, make sure to visit this hidden gem in the heart of Hereford, it's an experience to be savoured!

I often go to the Mousetrap in Church Street.
It is a friendly place with the most delicious cheeses and local produce and all the things that should accompany cheese.

It is too class and a very pleasant experience.

Cheese. Cheese. CHEESE!!!!
Aug 2018 • Couples
A fantastic cheese shop, with some really superb unusual cheeses from around the world. Always happy to allow people to try a few different cheeses (just don’t abuse the practice, please!).

Decent pricing. Well wrapped cheese. Also a range of cheese accompaniments and tools for serving cheese.

What more could a cheeseaholic ask for?

Ludlow shop experience
Sep 2017 • Couples
We visited during the Ludlow food festival. The cheese selection looked fabulous and we were quite excited! We had decided not to enter the castle for the food festival and instead to spend our money outside castle walls. The service wasn't bad.... but it wasn't particularly friendly either.
We asked for opinion and advice and found the feedback a little stilted (no pun intended). The exchanges just lacked warmth and so having looked around the shop and persevered to buy cheese we didn't bother buying the little wooden mouse or the the chutneys. Such a shame..... we didn't go back.
