Trading at Mollys Den
Oct 2018
As a trader at Mollys Den I can only give it praise for its professionalism. The range of products for sale is very diverse with lots to see. Some new some second hand. There is a nice café where food can be obtained.

Went to the Winchester Molly's den to find it closed. Apparently they have gone into administration.

Warning - call before visiting
Jul 2019 • Couples
Please call them to check they are open before you make a special trip, as when we visited today (within their advertised opening hours) they were closed.

An interesting hour browsing
Jul 2019 • Couples
The emporium can at first be hard to find as it is off the main tesco roundabout not on Moorside road. There is a sign but it is easier to spot 'car dealerships' on main road signage. It is at the very bottom of the road and alot of the carpark is on rough ground so take care if with older visitors less able footed.
The antique market is really good fun and a lot of variation. Some stalls are craft and others up cycling so not all antiques but this appeals to a wider public. The cafe is upstairs as if around 1/3rd of the antique stalls. This is on foot and there are no seats downstairs so also bear this in mind if you want to sit. The little cafe is OK. The tea is lovely, a large pot served with proper cup and saucer. The lunches are basic but tasty; a homemade quiche with side salad is £5.75p. The coffee is also nice. The service is slow so don't expect to be done in half an hour if limited lunch break. The guys serving on the antique checkout are friendly and helpful.
This is a nice less commercial stop to browse and have a snack then say a large garden centre. There is even a little kids play den which my daughter and friend enjoyed putting on a little performance on a mini stage. If the cafe had a spruce up with more dishes available and more comfortable seating (the playroom could do with a paint and few more decent toys) then I would rate this place 4. Almost there guys, but still very charming.

Excellent emporium but disappointing cafe experience
May 2019 • Friends
The emporium itself is very good - a real treasure trove. Lots of excellent bargains and unusual finds. The cafe is a disappointment. When we asked if breakfast was available, instead of just answering, they simply turned the menu over to the ‘lunch’ side. A simple yes or no would have sufficed. When the lunch came, the crisps were stale and the order had been mixed up so that my toastie on white bread was confused with my sister’s request for whole grain bread, which meant she couldn’t eat hers. Poor service for a £15 total! I will certain come back again for the emporium but I don’t recommend spending time or money in the cafe!

Great place to visit for something quirky!
Sep 2018 • Friends
this is a hidden gem, I over to pop here to find something either one-off, quirky, retro, vintage or just simply different. The café is really nice but its just great to ponder as I feel a lot of antique shops are slowly closing down so this is the new thing

Sweet little cafe inside Molly's Den
Mar 2019 • Friends
3 of us ate lunch and had a cuppa.
There are stairs up to the cafe and i am unclear if there is any other way to access this area.
Surrounded by bric a brac and antiques its an unusual place for a coffee and a bite to eat.
We had toasties which were very tasty and coffee which was very good. Service was by way of ordering at the counter and food was delivered to the table.
Find your table number first.
Parking was not easy but we did eventually find a spot.

Nice Shop Poor Cafe
Mar 2019 • Couples
The "den" is quite interesting although there are not that many antiques, most of the stuff sadly is reproductions.
The cafe which is upstairs looked interesting. Half the tables were occupied the rest were empty, so not many people. The order taking process was slow and the waiter did not write down our order which was a flat white, regular tea and two toasties. The drinks took ages and were delivered to the wrong table. We finally received them, later I enquired about the toasties as everybody else had been served even those who came after us. We found out that they had lost the order. By this time we were famished and left and found a decent cafe nearby.
Go for the repro's and odd antiques skip the cafe.
