Our 140-acre park is home to an incredible range of exotic and endangered species, in beautiful, landscaped surroundings. Just by visiting Marwell Zoo (owned and operated by conservation charity, Marwell Wildlife) you'll be making a big contribution to our projects to conserve species and habitats, both here in Hampshire and around the world. Our biggest ever exhibit is now open - Wild Explorers an immersive new home for our rhinos, scimitar horned oryx and Grevy's zebras. These are all species we have special responsibility for in the wild. Our £15-£19 adult entry fee varies across the year and includes a voluntary donation of around 10%. Please check our website for full ticket prices.

Very enjoyable day with 3 year old grandson. The zoo is very well laid out. With a few play parks for children dotted around. And a few toilets dotted around too. No elephants or lions. But snow leopards ,cheetahs ,ocelots , and a family of tigers mummy and 3 cubs. We took a buggy with us for grandson. But the... More

We really enjoyed this zoo and were thrilled to see the baby leopards though disappointed that the tigers and babies were not on show on the day we went (27th).Contrary to a previous review we found there were plenty of staff and they were helpful though I do agree the map was not really a lot of help. We were... More

The animals are well displayed and easily understood info about them is available. Useful app available to help you find your way around. Cafe gets very busy with a long queue at peak times so worth going a little earlier or later.

We visited on Friday 23rd September and arrived at 10.30 with our 15month son. We were greeted and bought our tickets by a really friendly team. We declined to buy a guide as assumed there would still be lots of information (maps, when talks were on etc.) written somewhere but there was nothing until beyond the penguin area. I think... More

Well set out and good variety of animals. Am enjoyable visit. Take a picnic. The food and drink prices are high as with many of these places.

We went to Marwell zoo back in March. We have been there before and have not been disappointed. The zoo is well maintained and the animals are well looked after. We have adopted a red panda there and we were lucky to see it closely. You can see some of the animals being fed. There is a tractor train that... More

As the weather was good we decided to go straight to the hotel, and visit the zoo (I had not been there since my children were young). Although lots of the animals were not visible in their enclosures we still had a good 3 hours meander around. Great work keep it up.

The zoo is lovely, well spaced out and nice to see that the animals captivated have a good area to exercise.

We went to Marwell Zoo yesterday with our 5 year old & 21 month old. Overall the zoo is worth the visit, we've been to Drusillas Zoo & also Fishers Farm park as other animal themed days out with young kids and I'd put Marwell in second spot after Drusillas (forget Fishers Farm West Sussex - which is an utter...
