Our 140-acre park is home to an incredible range of exotic and endangered species, in beautiful, landscaped surroundings. Just by visiting Marwell Zoo (owned and operated by conservation charity, Marwell Wildlife) you'll be making a big contribution to our projects to conserve species and habitats, both here in Hampshire and around the world. Our biggest ever exhibit is now open - Wild Explorers an immersive new home for our rhinos, scimitar horned oryx and Grevy's zebras. These are all species we have special responsibility for in the wild. Our £15-£19 adult entry fee varies across the year and includes a voluntary donation of around 10%. Please check our website for full ticket prices.

This was my first visit here and I could have chosen a better time of year. However judging by the car park it doesn't deter many people, definitely worth arriving early. The zoo is nice enough with a good selection of animals and you can get a lot closer up than London zoo for example. Loved the penguins from underneath... More

We live nearby and still always enjoy a visit. Baby hippo very cute. Cafe not brilliant but don't visit a zoo for the food. Hot chocolate good.

I booked this as a surprise for my friend for her birthday - I thought it was something different to do. I booked online, and was pleased that they accepted NUS cards. Being off-season it only cost around £11 per ticket, which I thought quite reasonable, but I wouldn't have wanted to have paid much more. There weren't as many... More

Brilliant for all the family. You can take your own. Food as there is plenty of indoor and outdoor picnic areas. There is a tractor trailer. Ride for those less mobile or who do not want to walk to far. It stops and collects from different parts of the zoo. Very interactive but allow all day as we have been... More

Yeah, it's a zoo, a pretty average zoo, you've got all your animals in there, can't really complain about that. It's fairly expensive to get in so be prepared to spend the whole day here to get your money's worth. My only criticism is the layout, it's just so sprawling you have to walk miles to see everything, and it's... More

We all had a nice time we saw what we expected loads of animals.. the price was value for money but I was disappointed that there were not more activities for the kids to engage with. We listened to two of the animal talks and the presenters were very good but they only lasted about 5 to 10 minutes so... More

Was surprised about how early they closed, but still a very nice day. A lot to see, but bring warm clothes if you are there on a rainy day.

Today we visited Marwell zoo. Two 12 year olds and one 14 year old in tow. Easy to park the car and efficient entry. We got our tickets on line in advance. I'd recommend doing this. Easy zoo to walk around. Animals seemed to be in good enclosures overall with great visibility. So nice you could get up close to... More
