The strange AV presentation is a bit disconcerting, but after that it is interesting inside, especially the explanation of what the view down to the docks would have been, and the mercantile history of the area. The gardens have some interesting displays, too. A good cafe for tea and cakes.

Started with a light lunch in the cafe and watched a wedding have their photo's taken in the gardens. Surprised the Groom and best man were wearing jeans !!! Not in keeping with jacket, waistcoat and button hole ! All other guests dressed to the nines !

Called in while walking in Southampton, the waitress was very friendly but the menu was very limited and I ended up just having a pot of tea.

This is very nice place, a lot of things to see, very good service. I think the garden would be nicer in the summertime.

It is just a amazing place to visit i think. If you live your whole life in the asian countries, you will like the scenery of what you saw. But you have to choice the right time. Because of the weather situation, It is such a place we should visit on sunny day.

I came here with barely any expectations and it turned out to be a good experience! The place is small, it must be said but it has a substantial amount of interesting things to keep you interested. Maybe it is not worth its price but if you are on holiday in Southampton and would like to kill a couple of... More

I have been going to the Tudor House since I was a kid. Now I am honoured to be able to now take my son there. We go about once a year and it’s an amazing place with creaky floorboards and some off the wall crazy exhibits particularly the strange exhibits with testimonials explaining why a particular item stuck in... We spent a very entertaining 30. Minutes here. We did rather rush it and would suggest a longer visit. The house was very busy with families and face painting was being done in one room. All the staff had really gone to town on their costumes. Brilliant makeup too.

This lovely house is well worth a visit and value for the modest admission. We didn't expect a great deal but to our surprise the house kept giving at every turn. We found it very interesting. The staff were also friendly, particularly one young lady who yesterday afternoon went out of her way to be helpful, thank you.
