We went for the first time with our 11 and 9yr olds. They really enjoyed the paddling pool on a really hot day. The play area was ok, but the ice cream man was overpriced.

I been visiting Southampton common since I was a child and it has improved a lot over the years. There is a lovely water park for the kids to have fun when the weather is warm; close by is the Cowherds pub, with good food and refreshing drinks. There's a kids' playground with swings etc., and plenty of places to... More

There is the duck pond, boating lake, play area with regular ice cream van, open air kiddies pool, the hawthorn center and the Cowherds pub. It... More

In the heart of the city, a haven of rurality. Woods, parks, lakes and occasionally concerts. Easy access from the University.

Lots of walks, grassy areas to play on and cycle paths for those more energetic. Playground for the children. The cemetery is also worth a visit. Overall a great ares to... More
