Lots of play areas for children, including a skate park. You can walk all along the river. Lots of places to sit and plenty of free parking.

Riverside is one of many FREE parks in Southampton. Situated beside the river it offers a place for picnics, romance, dog walking, playing with children, and swan feeding (near Bitterne Triangle).

Great park which we use more or less on a daily basis - in the summer we spend many hours walking or just sitting and chatting - great relaxation.

Been so much rain around and all our normal walks are wet and muddy. First time here and had a lovely walk alongside the river. Various play areas and attractions along the way.

Yes, of course. There's just one fenced area by the school where they aren't allowed and it's probably just common decency not to let them foul on the pitch & put, cricket and football pitches
