I have visited Riverside Park many times, in every season. It is a great place to take children: there are playgrounds, a skate park, and lots of birds to watch and to feed. The flock of swans is always fun to feed, and there is a family of black swans there these days. In Spring there are ducklings and cygnets.... More

Riverside Park runs from Cobden Bridge to Mansbridge and follows the River Itchen. On Sunday's there is a model steam railway offering rides.

Riverside park is a place where you can run, walk, ride a bike, play some sports, go fishing, enjoy the amazing views, and do whatever you want. It's a place where you can find families and other people exercising. I consider one of my favorites places in Southampton because I can clear my mind and enjoy my time the most.

Very beautiful, good proximity to Bitterne triangle, so can stop off for ice cream then go for a walk.

We take our puppy, Bella here regularly. She loves it and so do we. Always other friendly dog walkers and loads going on. Lovely place.

You can feed the ducks and swans and then take a stroll around the park, there's a massive open area and a cricket pitch too, the play park has 3 kiddie areas too with all different apparatus in each of them, when the... Great place to go with the kids, there are several play parks and the high light for mine is to go and feed the swans on the river. only downside is the lack of toilet facilities open to the public.

A very nice spot in Southampton just to walk along by the river to relax. There is a pitch & put here if you wish to have a game.

One of my favourite places for a walk. Great sunny open spaces and nice footpaths along the Itchen river.
