So relaxing just strolling along the river from the White Swan to Bittern Triangle. Walk the dog, cycle or jog; play ball games or putting on the open spaces or use kayaks and canoes on the river. Swans, geese and ducks abound on the river and help you chill out when watching from one of the numerous riverside benches. Parking... More

Riverside park is a great place for everyone of all ages. I highly reccomend it in the summer. The water is becoming slightly overrun with weeds and this can look unappealing. If there was a way to slightly cut them back without damaging habitats of wildlife this would be a good idea. Apart from that is a lovely place and... More

Great place for everyone albeit daily dog walking, jogging, cycling, walks and picnics with the kids. Plenty of open space for ball games. Always something on the river of interest. Or just sit on a bench and chill out. Plenty of parking around the park, close to local amenities for refreshments.

Probably the favourite place for evening walks my girlfriend and I have. The park is always very clean and well maintained. The views if the river as well as the general look of the park itself are both amazing.

I have visited Riverside Park many times, in every season. It is a great place to take children: there are playgrounds, a skate park, and lots of birds to watch and to feed. The flock of swans is always fun to feed, and there is a family of black swans there these days. In Spring there are ducklings and cygnets.... More

Riverside Park runs from Cobden Bridge to Mansbridge and follows the River Itchen. On Sunday's there is a model steam railway offering rides.

Riverside park is a place where you can run, walk, ride a bike, play some sports, go fishing, enjoy the amazing views, and do whatever you want. It's a place where you can find families and other people exercising. I consider one of my favorites places in Southampton because I can clear my mind and enjoy my time the most.
