we had a look round old Southampton and came across this house, We did not go but looked very interesting inside the old city walls away from the bustle of the city.

Although the house is fairly authentic to the times, unless one has a fairly good knowledge of the time period, there'should not much here to enlighten anyone. Talking with the docent later was interesting, but nothing in the house really provides much information. At 10...More

It's a lovely little house. You can see the whole thing in less than 10 minutes, but it certainly is worth the visit and the ticket. There's a toilet too.

You can follow the map directions provided and walk a short distance to find several old buildings such as this one in the old part of the town. I love seeing this sort of reminder of our History and it looks great.
