Went here for the boat show and it was excellent. Lots of places to go and has hotels just opposite for convenience to travel into the city.

Went for the boat show, loads of stalls only downside was the prices it was very expensive to buy from them when I can get the same item from the same company at a lower price, food very expensive so we just had coff and that was £3 each so if your taking kids then bring food and drinks with you.... Visited this week to attend the Southampton Boat Show. The park is quite large and offers great views of the water and you can easily see all the shipping movements including container ships and the cruise liners. You can also access the hotels and restaurants which surround the park. There are plenty of car parks nearby, I parked in West... More

The area from the Red Funnel car ferry access and opposite the Grand hotel was filled with stalls and boats this week in Sept. It is a really good boating experience where you can see so many different types of boats - large and small as well as hundreds of boat related items. We took the Hythe ferry across Southhampton... It is located at the water´s edge and it is a nice place to spend a couple of hours. Many hotels, restaurants and a famous pub are there for you to enjoy, You can see the cruise ships departuring in the late afternoon.

This park is right on the water, and it's awful. Yes they have a small play area, but no good it you don't have kids. It's messy with rubbish, no flower beds and just boring. Southampton need to do more

This is a good spot for watching the Cruise ships leave in the evening. Other than that its a large area of grass with an ice cream van :-)

Close to the centre of the town, near to many old parts of Southampton. The park has a great kids play area and easy parking. Don't go in Sept as the Boat Show is there no room to move....

This is a fantastic point for watching the large cruise ships that dock in Southampton, but it is very scruffy and filled with rubbish. I've never seen so many empty fast food wrappers. It's such a shame, this could be a lovely area with a bit of TLC.
