We decided to visit the cinema for the first time since it has re-opened due to the covid situation, we are regular cinema goers and really wanted to see 'Tenet'. The cinema felt organised on arrival. You are welcomed at the top of the escalator and your tickets are scanned. Floor markings are clear and everything felt clean. The toilets have the sinks all covered apart from a few and were nice and clean plus there are hand sanitisers outside in the corridors too. The Costa was open so my husband decided to queue for a couple of coffees before we watched the film but gave up after 15 minutes as the service was super slow. Normally we wouldn't care but in a cinema it's fairly obvious that a lot of customers will be buying drinks etc to take into a viewing so time is limited for waiting for someone who quite frankly couldn't have been any slower. 'Tenet' was a brilliant film, wasn't disappointed and was a great film for a return to the cinema. BUT.....be warned...there are no trailers and only 5-10 minutes of ads before the actual film. Our viewing was 10am....if you are like us, we like seeing the trailers and so turn up on time but know that if a little late normally that you won't miss much due to having to sit through at least half an hour of ads as well as trailers. Not at the moment, we walked in at 10.15 and the film was already on, we missed a pretty action packed beginning and potentially the whole explanation for the main character's actions. So turn up on time at the moment...we did complain mainly because we felt that more people could potentially miss beginnings to films that you've paid a pretty hefty price to watch and when we booked tickets there were no warnings that this was currently the situation. Apart from that, it was still good to be back, can't wait to go again.

Have used this cinema on multiple occasions in fact it's the only one I go to now. The seats are incredible you recline and relax it's like home from home. As well as the back of your huge comfy chair reclining but you can lift your legs. You coukd even go a bit extra and have an up grade with a food tray. Which is a choice of sweet and savory snacks and you can have a drink in the private bar before hand and take it into the cinema. A truly amazing experience.

Great cinema, clean and tidy with great comfort. I have used this cinema on a number of occasions and have yet to be disappointed. The seats are utterly comfortable and recline to make your comfort perfect. Will be back 😁

Went to see 1917. All good but sadly found the seats very uncomfortable. Nice to have recliners but still made my backache terribly. My son said the same. Both thought they’d be more comfey. On a positive. Been there twice now and both times the loos were spotless and not smelly 10/10 on that front. Well done showcase.

Turned away as did not have ID for 15 year old, 16 next week. Policy requires ID. ID not issued for under 16s so you need a passport or birth certificate to see a film. Apparently two responsible parents word is not enough! Ridiculous. What ever happened to people being allowed to use judgement in these type of jobs?
