We received a lovely warm welcome when we arrived at the Spinnaker Tower. We were shown a little film introducing famous people through the ages linked with Portsmouth. It is a fun, educational film and excellent for children. After having our photographs taken we were soon in the lift heading towards the large viewing platform. There were not many people... More

Advisable only on clear days worth a visit for the views and a walk on the glass platform. Fairly expensive though.

Fantastic views of Portsmouth and beyond from the heights of a unique tower. The almost 360 views mean you can see the Isle of Wight towards the south and the South Downs to the north. An added thrill is a clear floor area where you can almost literally walk on air! This is a Portsmouth must-do for all the family.... More

Great visuals, kids love the glass floor and Shane in the lift was lovely. I would Definitely recommend this to anyone. Price is a little steep though.

wondered if worth going up with cafe only 10 minutes from closing BUT very friendly staff - although it was obvious that Tom was at the end of a very busy day we were warmly welcomed and nothing was too much trouble :) Amazing place to watch the sun go down and the city lights come on all the staff... When we saw the tower we knew we had to experience it. We got a basic ticket (under £10 each) had our hand stamped (you can return as many times in the day) and got into the very fast lift, and on our journey upwards were told some brief info about the tower. At the first level you have an... More

Even on a cloudy day the views from the top are breathtaking! Great value for money as you pay once and can then re-visit as many times as you want that day.

This was a definite on our recent visit to Portsmouth, luckily the weather was clear and dry. We still couldn't really see the Isle of Wight. But lots of activity going on in and out of the Harbour - views out to Hayling Island one way, Gosport the other, and the White Cliffs inland. We sat and had a picnic... More
