A visit with a Shearings excursion. The ground floor was the only accessible viewing as the Royal Apartments were being renovated. However, we were not disappointed and can understand why Queen Victoria was so fond of the House. Even on a wet November day the...More

We were taken here by friends who live on the IOW. They probably bring all their guests here, and I can see why. The house is very impressive and has been kept the same since Victoria died here. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and seem...More

Really beautiful house and gardens, nice displays for a little learning. Swiss cottage and museum are nice. Buses to link house with swiss cottage and beach a massive bonus

Lovely place to visit. Nice friendly staff. No restrictions on photos other than no flash and tripods. The minibuses to and from beach and Swiss Cottage are brilliant and save make the estate open to all.
