About
Even though it is a bit of hike to get to, this ancient burial mound is worth the effort, especially towards dusk when the site becomes magical in appearance.

heard a lot about this place, so we took a drive up and took a stroll around, wasn't like anything the people of the village spoke about, however a nice walk with the dogs

Visited this many times, you can even shelter in the burial chambers if it rains ! One of the best preserved tombs of the type in the Couintry

Nice walk, steep in places, but managable if reasonably fit, lovely views of the countryside. Very little to see but interesting to read the history of the place.

It is some climb to get to this place, but if you enjoy history then it's worth it. One of the best preserved long barrows I've come across. The information boards explain what you're looking at and make it a worthwhile experience.

I visited the site by taking the circular walk from Winchcombe. It's a steep walk but you're treated to stunning views on the way up and down and it doesn't take long (it took me about 90 minutes or so to walk up and back)....More

Worth the walk up the steep hill to view Belas Knap. Lovely views the majority of the way up. Information board once at Belas Knap with more information. Nice place for a stroll and relax in the countryside.

It was worth the climb to see this Neolithic long narrow. Makes you curious about those who raised it.
