Tetbury church is a very imposing building and its spire dominates the local landscape. However, when I visited the church with my child (5 years old) the steward was unnecessarily rude and disrespectful to us. When I let him explore the steward ruined the atmosphere of the church by shouting at him and telling him off when all he was doing was exploring. Then when I asked if he could possibly play the piano because he needs lots of encouragement and being used the playing in front of others, the stewards was disgusted and said he couldn't even touch it. Overall, an awful and disappointing experience ruined by staff and not the building itself. I shall not be returning any time soon.

One of the most beautiful Georgian country churches that we have visited. THE ARCHITECTURE was interesting and a reflection of the wealth of Tetbury in the period it was built and good for students of church architecture and anyone seeking solace
When we visited the church we saw a sign advertising the Church Fete on Saturday, We returned to have the most enjoyable time with cream teas, jam, and cake sale, lucky dip. AND Very friendly and welcoming parishioners.

We were very disappointed at this church because the whole of the nave was roped off so that it was impossible to walk round it. All we were allowed to do was have a brief look at the sanctuary and nowhere else.

The "family" pews - with their own doors - are a must see. Also take the Tetbury circular walk (about 2 to 3 miles) which boasts St Mary's spire to be always visible.

This place is amazing, it's like a cathedral, lovely stained glass windows, well maintained, it has a n old fashioned cemetery surrounding it. I would recommend.

What a venue for the wedding, everything catered for the bells, the candelabras, the warmth a beautiful setting. the church members so helpful, so friendly so loving its your wedding day and they do everything to make it so.

This very large parish church is very grand Original box pews, balcony and organ loft. The internal pillars are exceptionally thin being made of wood from the dockyards in bristol. A cloister runs along one side of the church The architecture is Georgian neo perpendicular. The town of Tetbury made a small forune from wool and invested much in the church that exists today A very tall spire is a more recent addition.

Enjoyed the wander around the cemetery, looking at the flowers there. The church is ( as one would expect) very beautiful and peaceful.
