I loved our visit to Westonbirt Arboretum. This is the most beautiful place. I particularly liked the new bridge walk. My favourite part is the old arboretum.

Lovely place even though it was raining. Will certainly be back another day to visit in the sunshine. So much to see and do here.

If you like trees and a location that is very accessible, good for family outings, then Westonbirt should be considered. It has good parking and toilets facilities. The toilet I visited on the day was very clean! It has a new Skywalk which takes you...More

If you even dare call yourself a gardener then a visit to Westonbirt is compulsory. I will go again in the Autumn and the Spring.

We stopped here to pass a couple of hours and really enjoyed it. The walk-way amongst the tree canopy is wonderful. The signage is interesting and thought provoking. A lovely place to wander around and get lost in the magnificence of nature. Would love to...More

This was our first visit - we had a few problems finding it initially as we'd gone 'the back route' and used the postcode from the website but ended up several miles away! Plenty of free parking although people were inconsiderate in taking up huge...More

The lawns are well-manicured, the trees and many and spectacular. The new walkway over the treetops is a must. This is our 2nd visit. This time we did not see the wildbirds feeding station...but that was a top priority on our list. A total relaxing...More

When the weather's good Westonbirt is our go to destination for our big family get togethers. Kids range in age from 3 to 16 but all will happily spend the whole day exploring, building dens, playing ball games and picnicking, whilst adults chill. Even when...More

Just happened to stop by with the grand kids following a wedding in the area to do the Gruffalo trail. An interesting place for young and old.

Sorry for the delay in replying. As someone else has already said, you do have to pay to get in before we can visit any of the facilities as the café is some way from the entrance.

The best way is to go by train to Kemble. Then from Kemble you can take a local taxi to westonbirt (15 minutes car) and from Kemble train station again you can go to London.
