Nice little park

Took a lovely stroll around the lake in the early evening and saw plenty of ducks and swans and even a couple of bats flying around over the water catching insects.

Pond with swans and ducks, paved walkways and plenty of benches. There are several trails through the woods which I love to walk through on a hot day. There is The Museum in the Park to visit, and once a month in summer there is a miniature railway running through the park...in the winter you can walk down the tracks!... More

A very nice park to go and relax. A little bit more could be done with it though. I also think the fishing pond could be made to look a bit more attractive.

This park has it all a leisure centre, great play area, fantastic walk with lake and ducks to feed and museum. All in all a great family day out.

Great tree climbing for children! The ancient & huge trees are worth a look just by themselves. The woodland area with the stream is good fun too. The variety of spaces means that everyone can find something to do - a children's play area, an open field, a space by the Bandstand for a picnic, a peaceful area by the... More

If you like an outdoor walk and usually have children in tow then this little park is worth a visit. With its own car park big enough to ensure parking on even the busiest days you simply can't go wrong. Take a picnic and a blanket on a sunny summers day and though small you could easily entertain a family... More

I love Stratford Park, Stroud. It is ideal for all ages. Little pathways run round the whole park. It is particularly lovely in the summer...on Sunday's they have a brass band play on the band stand and it's lovely to listen to while soaking up the sun on a picnic blanket. Also there are many ducks on the lake which... More

Very disppointed with standard of service and food. Service on the evening we ate there was very haphazard. Seemed to be a lot of people leaving before ordering. Average food, overpriced.

Just sit and relax in the park or walk round the lake, you can also visit the musium in the park. For the more energetic you have the Leasure Center which is only a few minutes walk away.
