This was an Old-fashioned bookstore, like they used to be. Went in to find a specific title, which they didn't have. Offered me another, "The only one we have like that."

I love this shop. The staff are highly knowledgable and friendly, full of helpful suggestions when appropriate. The shop is well stocked with all sorts of wonderful books, and they are very efficient at quickly sourcing books if they don’t have them.

Characterful bookshop stuffed to the gunnels with lots of popular and more unusual offerings. Often order books overnight if not in stock, and very helpful with any queries. I have used them for 30 years, and it's always a pleasure to go there!
