I purchased the “ nothing but Cotswold cheese” selection in the store having seen it on line. I wanted to see it first. Friendly service but more importantly the each cheese was delicious. All my guests over Christmas commented favourably too.
Highly recommend this selection.

I went in to purchase a gift card and was told they no longer sell the style you can purchase in store (gift card/voucher). I was told to go on the website, purchase one and I’d be sent an email code to redeem.
Could the be a more impersonal way to give somebody a gift voucher as a present ? By forwarding on an email that they then have to print to redeem ? What if they don’t have a printer or it gets lost in their junk mail ? What if the recipient is elderly and doesn’t have an email ?
What appalling customer service ‘go on the website so I don’t have to serve you in my shop’ . Why on earth would you create a faceless service when customers are walking into your shop to be served by somebody ?
In fairness to the two staff present they were clearly very very embarrassed by the decision from the owner, were very apologetic and even showed me the gift card sleeves they used to use on a shelf behind the till. You could see they felt let down by the owner for putting them in this position.
In a society that dislikes faceless service (like call centres) why oh why would you refuse to sell a customer a gift card in store and tell them to do it online ?

Absolutely poor and unpleasant service from the lady who works there. She behaves as if we killed her cat or something. Don't bother.

Happy customer after a visit to the Moreton-in-Marsh branch. Wide selection of cheeses all in excellent condition. Not to be missed.

This is an excellent cheese emporium on the High Street. Great variety of local and continental cheese with knowledgeable staff.

We live locally, and are therefore able to call in extremely regularly to what is undoubtedly an absolute gem in both Moreton and Stow (and Burford as well).
Great range of cheese, pickles and jams (plus everything else) - more than sufficient to keep these foodies in continual raptures.
John, Lisa and all their staff are knowledgeable, friendly and always welcoming - nothing is ever too much trouble. A visit to the Cheese Shop is always top of the agenda for all our friends and relatives when they come to Moreton.
And then best of all, I ordered one of their gift boxes to be delivered to a dear friend for his 70th birthday. All done in perfect condition and on time - apparently it was the perfect gift.
So we might be a tiny bit biased but it is enterprises like the Cotswold Cheese Company that just add to the complete joy of living here. Long may they prosper! ( and keep my pickled onion stock levels up - just the best with some Single Gloucester.

Experienced an awful service from the shop assistant here. Rude, impatient and racist. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend.

We were enjoying delightful weekend stay in Moreton in Marsh. While strolling along High Street doing a bit of window shopping, we came upon the Cotswold Cheese Company shop.
Despite the fact that we had no real need to purchase any cheese, we decided to pop in to take a quick look.
As we entered, we received a friendly greeting from the lady serving behind the counter. There was a wonderful variety of cheeses nicely displayed in the shop. The smell of the cheeses pervading throughout the shop was delightful.
Whilst we didn’t purchase any cheese because we really had no need of any at that time, it was pleasant to be able to be able to view some of the local produce available in this well stocked small shop.
