I came here for a drinks night social with friends, but decided to come earlier to eat as well. I admit having eaten here in the past I didn't expect much but the menus etc have clearly since changed and I was very impressed with what I had actually for how much it was. The mac and cheese toastie is such a great idea and was really nice, paired that with the meaty loaded waffle fries which I probably didn't need, it was a great meal, would recommend!

Come in occasionally when we are in town, I love the service and professional way they conduct themselves without being overpowering. Special mention to Adam and Majid who just ‘connect’. I’m in the hospitality industry myself and I know good staff when I see them. Food amazing, quick and served with a smile. There will be more visits in the coming months.. well done lads.x

First time have been to Copa and have to say very impressed by welcoming bar staff and cleanliness of bar and toilets.
We ordered food and was expecting a bit of a wait due to how busy the bar was. However, this was not the case within 20 minutes of ordering food it was delivered to our table.
The portion of big fish and chips was huge and definitely did not disappoint. My friend had a burger and fries and was also satisfied with her food.
The waitress was very helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and that our food was satisfactory.
The added bonus for us was that we were able to use our blue light discount card and received 20% discount off our food, which made our visit even more appealing and will definitely return again.

Fantastic pub !
Popped in with my family for some food And drinks, it was very busy but the staff made us feel welcome right from the start. When ordering the bar staff were very helpful especially when suggesting suitable meals the kids. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. On top of the great service the atmosphere was great and everyone including staff and customers all seemed so happy , will definitely return

I have been using this bar/restraunt for many years, I visited on July 6th with my mum and sister and was disappointed to see that the manager and staff had all been replaced, not sure if it was covid related or not but we still thought we would have lunch, what a mistake that was.
The lady who served us was cold, disinterested and some what rude.
The food seemed to take ages and when they come out with it we noticed they had messed our order up, no apology offered and the waitress (young with ginger hair) acted like we were an inconvenience!
The food was horrible and nothing like it was before the change of management, the macaroni cheese was nasty, it tasted like a cheap frozen meal and I only had one mouthful.
My mum had scampi and again it tasted like cheap frozen scampi nothing like the quality of food we used to get at Copa, my sisters lasagne looked and tasted like it was made days earlier.
All in all a terrible experience and total waste of money, will never return and will ensure everyone I know avoids.
Train your staff, get a decent chief and use fresh produce or I feel your be closed in a few months, I was not the only customer unhappy with the service and quality of food.

I can’t recommend Copa highly enough. I go there all the time for drinks and food with my friends, family and husband. The place always has a buzz about it. The food is yummy pub food at great value, especially the burgers. The best thing about Copa is the staff always so friendly and chatty. I always get a warm welcome, great service and a smile whenever I go in. Definitely my go to place for fun drinks in the evening and a quality lunch.

Upon ordering, I was very pleased to see that Green King have a designated tablet, where you can input your allergies and then a menu will come up, with all the dishes that you can eat - what an amazing idea, I thought.
My daughter has an Egg and Nut allergy in which she needs an Epipen for.
She ordered a child’s burger, which stated was both Egg and Nut free.
When the food came, the bun looked suspiciously like a brioche bun, but I thought I’d trust in the allergen protocols in place. Upon closer I inspection though, it was clear the burger had Mayonnaise inside. After telling a team member, the burger was changed but came back out on the same plate, which is a huge cross contamination risk. My daughter lost all confidence in eating the food. And didn’t eat her lunch. Luckily she didn’t eat the burger, before she noticed but if she had, she could have been seriously Ill. Everyone has the right to feel safe eating out. So anyone with allergies, I would recommend avoiding!

Copa is the ideal venue for all your social and entertainment needs!… I’ve visited Copa on many occasions and it never lets me down. Whether you are in town shopping and in need of a break, rendezvousing with colleagues for an informal business meeting, on a date night, or with a large group of friends on a night out, this is my go to place. The staff are attentive, friendly, welcoming and happy to deal with your requests. The relaxed ambiance during the week is popular with guests, whilst the lively nightlife on the weekends ideal for all age groups. The decor and location are clean, fresh and just perfect. Copa caters for people with disabilities and families alike, so whether it’s wheelchair/pushchair assess, a quiet area or larger tables, you will not be disappointed. There is a large selection of tasty food and the choice of beverages is vast so you’ll never need to go elsewhere. I look forward to returning again soon.

Having visited Copa regularly before lock down, we booked a table last week and are pleased that even with new safety measures in place it was still just as enjoyable as before. It is still the friendly and welcoming place we are used to and as always great service with our food and drinks. They have put great measures in place and we look forward to returning.

Lunchtime treat with daughters who are so busy we hardly ever get the time for lunch. Came into town and decided on a spot of lunch but nothing too heavy. Jnr daughter was on a tight deadline as she started work in 45 mins so decided to sit outside at Copa.
Ordered via the app and the only downside is that you can't order from the menu until 12:00 p.m.
Perhaps it would be an idea to accept orders so that they can be prepared and cooked ready to serve at 12:00 p.m? Just a thought?
A good selection of wines from different regions which was great.
Drinks served quickly and soon followed the food.
Lovely friendly staff and table cleared away of empty glasses and plates so we weren't looking at them for the rest of our time there.
Will return soon.
