Description:

Prescott Hill Climb, based just outside of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, is...

Prescott Hill Climb, based just outside of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, is home to one of the world's most prestigious motor racing venues. Set in 60 acres of glorious Cotswold countryside, the estate not only provides a beautiful setting for a range of classic car and bike weekends, but also hosts major motor racing championships.

The Bugatti Owners Club was established in 1929 for all motoring enthusiasts regardless of what type of vehicle you drive. The Club is based at Prescott and purchased the estate in 1937, converting the muddy, rutted drive into a speed hiil climb in time for the opening rally in April 1938.

The 1127 yard course rises over 200 feet via short straights, fast and slow corners and a breathtaking hairpin, with the fastest modern racing cars completing the course in an exciting 36 seconds.

The action can be viewed from strategic points along the course as well as from the restaurant terrace. Visitors and competitors alike can enjoy an exhilarating days racing plus vintage cavalcades up the Hill.

Whether you are a competitor, a car or bike enthusiast or someone who just likes a day out in beautiful surroundings Prescott is the place for you.

Regular attendee at the VSCC hill climb and other events here and it always feels friendly and accessible. Great on a sunny day with easy views of track. I love walking the paddock area and getting close the cars. Continues to be upgraded and now has a great club house.

Went for the jaguar owners club day which was very interesting and good fun to watch. Club house sells good coffee and great beer. Whilst we were there found out about the Bugatti day so decided to visit again which was amazing! Also visited the Bugatti museum which is well worth a look. Thoroughly enjoyable days out

A fabulous weekend surrounded by beautiful vintage cars. A great location. Great facilities and everything you could possibly need over the day. Loved the atmosphere, and will definitely be coming back! Even the price won't stop us, £25 per day for an adult.

Although I have watched many different forms of motor sport in the past this was my first visit to a hill climb and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The meeting was a celebration of seventy years of the Cooper Car Company and having seen Jackie Stewart race a T72 formula 3 car at Goodwood in 1964 I was keen to see... More

Recently visited Prescott for our school leavers prom. Although the venue was fantastic it was let down by terrible management and rude staffing. The assistant manager told us (aggressively shouted) on a number of occasions to shutup and got into a number of arguments with various guests. They also refused to open windows which without Air-conditioning made the room very... More

We go a few times a year, often when friends and family visit. It's a hidden gem in the Cotswolds: a hill climb race track where you can see so many different cars racing, from a Nissan Micra saloon to one of Ayrton Senna's old F1 cars, with vintage 3 wheel Bugattis and Veyrons on the way (it's the home... Had our school prom here. The venue was nice and so was the food but the staff were very rude. Many people were sworn at when trying to get fresh air outside and people were not allowed back in when they went out. Ruined the night for some people.

This annual event is superb and the Bugatti circuit is in the most beautiful setting. This event held on the Whitsun bank holiday is an opportunity to see spectacular cars competing on the hill climb circuit. For the past nine years it has celebrated French vehicles and everything French around the circuit. This year, Italian cars were included which was... More

I'm a frequent visitor to Prescott hill climbs but this is the first visit to La Vie en Bleu/ La Vita Rossa. What a fantastic weekend ! I was there for both days and there was loads to do and see on both days. The main stage featured several acts with a French/Italian theme from opera to Charleston dance performances,... More

Great hill climb, Bugatti link for almost a 100 years but nice layout - seating in outside bar with good view of the action on track.
