Excellent time spent around montpellier and surrounding Suffolk gardens. Quintessential shops and restaurants that offered a standard that was second to none.

Great bar at the Rotinda, several real ales on, all well kept. Very pleased that at the obviously end of a barrel they ditched the last pint, and pulled me one off the new barrel. Watched England v Auz, great atmosphere, nice people.

Lots here; restaurants, bars, shops. Great for people watching - this is the 'high end' part of my home town and has very much a village like atmosphere

Surprisingly dog friendly. There are a few shops such as Silk and Recherche that I've been in, along with the pub, Harry Cook; and there is a lot of outdoor seating and the lovely Montpellier Gardens across the road. As dogs can't go in all of the shops it's not practical for a heavy shopping day, but if you fancy... More

A major event in Montpellier. A series of talks loosely related to the printed word. Broad appeal brings throngs. Expect things to go wrong. Chetenham's festivals (not to be confused with THE iconic Cheltenham Festival) are an attempt to make economic sense of the town's biggest dilemma: how to host one vast sporting event per year, and a handful of... This part of Cheltenham has excellent gardens and lots of new Georgian Houses and Shops. This is boutique shopping land on a human scale with interesting niche shops, trendy cafes and plenty of space to drift and wander. A relaxing place to walk, eat and drink.

Lots of the old small traditional shops still there along with many newer boutique shops. Several pubs and many eateries to cater for most tastes. Stop and stand back and look at the architecture many unusual nooks and crannies that catch your eye. You can see many different looks to the buildings and the lawns are a great space to... More
