The staff were so enthusiastic that my children were engrossed in the history of this very well-preserved house. It brought history to life and the location is the very attractive town of Lewes.

Interesting building with period furniture. Bit like a rabbit warren inside. Look out for the delightful painting in the kitchen, adds a touch of colour.

This is one of those nice little gems of history that has been preserved in the town of Lewes. The house is part museum and part open space, where you can explore and see what a fine Tudor house of the time period would have been like. There are also some educational elements for children and the gardens while small are simple and superb.

This wonderful piece of history is in the town of Lewes and is located on an interesting street with different period houses.
Not only did Anne of Cleves survive Henry VIII but her home has survived and it is worth a visit. There is also a small cafe with indoor and outdoor sitting.
We did purchase a book and a pair of period earrings from the wee gift shop.

We had hoped to do the combined castle and house ticket. Sadly the castle was closed due to staff illness. If the castle is as good as the house then the combined ticket price is amazing value.
Anne of Cleves House was brilliant. The history and architecture were wonderful. With information boards and a typed set of sheets for every room you got all the detail and they really helped understand the building.
With a small café attached it made for great visit and was well worth the entry fee.

Nice place, link to Anne a little tenuous but still an interesting visit. Lovely little garden to walk round and interesting exhibits

We bought a joint ticket with the Lewes Castle & museum for £13 per adult. Very interesting house, lots of stairs so no good for anyone unable to encounter them, stopped off in the cafe gardens for a cream tea too, lovely warm scone, jam and clotted cream with a pot of tea for one for £5.20.

It’s the same as the museum. Full of authentic 17thC artefacts and information. Not far from the high street and packed with information.
