A great place to be. Whether just for stroll, walking the dog or having a picnic. More trees than Kew gardens. Lawns, ponds and a stream, tennis courts and a cafe in the park.

Use the park regularly for dog walking. Beautiful park rated as one of the best in the country for it's diversity. Formal gardens including rose garden, games areas, ponds with varied birdlife and "wild area" Also a great café.

Sorry have only seen this question so maybe it's too late. Dordrecht Way which cuts across the park from St. Helens road to Upper Park road is the best but parking is available in Ashford road if you don't mind a little walk
