As we approached the Smuggler's Adventure, my expectations were vey low when we saw the litter-strewn steps. I have no doubt the owners will respond with ' not our responsibility', but we were embarrassed as we saw a French family comment on the litter too. On a more positive note, there was a lot to commend the cave once inside.... More

Worth a visit but a bit over priced. Often you can find discount tickets to make it more affordable. Interactive displays showing history of local smuggling. Personally i preferred it when it was less tourist tacky and more natural and you could go to parties in the caves.

Great place to discover the real history about smugglers in the past centuries... the museum is interactive and well kept. I will definitely come back here.

This place scared the crap out of me on a school trip. Fun times. Not good for people afraid of underground, darkness and enclosed spaces! Guess it could be interesting to adventurers though?

While I visited Hastings I thought to give a try to Smugglers Adventure. It is interesting and something different, I would recommend even if you are not young.

First visit to the caves which I've been aiming to do for ages I mostly enjoyed it learning the history of smuggling round these coastal areas. Walking down the slope really is intersting going deep into a cave ,but can be very dark so have your mobile phone torch to hand. As said mostly enjoyed it ,we went on a... More

I have been to the Smugglers Adventure a couple of times over the last 30 odd years and hadn't been for a number of years until today!... I was very sad to see how run down and outdated it all is now!...The staff were friendly, but apart from that saving grace, I felt the price of £16 we paid for... More

Dear Angie P, Thank you for your review. We will take your comments on board. We will pass on your kind words to the staff. The Caves have not been guided for a long time. This way people do not feel rushed and can explore for as long as they like! We also have Torchlight Tour evening events taking place... More
