This review is purely for the on site cafe, ordered 2 coffees and 2 warmed pastries. food came out to us within 6 minutes, fine, coffees arrived after 25 minutes, food all consumed, crazy time, staff not aware who was waiting for what or for how long, a simple solution would to be to issue each customer with a number on a stick to assist waiting staff. The delay is very poor and we checked, our drinks were not given elsewhere in error

What could be a more vibrant space. Used to be the cricket field in Georgian times. I have the original print! Sometimes there is a fun fair about 3 times a year on Bank holiday. Should be craft and music festivals in the summer but no. One pizza place cum cafe. Child friendly. Skate boarding. Sometimes the odd rather miserable fair in good weather badly advertised so even locals don’t know. Sunday market along the north side of the level summer months only not well advertised. Good place to jog, run and walk the dog. Some festivals. Public toilets next to the cafe.

The Level is a nice park if you are quite close by. It has a skateboard rink at one end, good for kids and younger teens. Usually in daytime a cafe is open. Public toilets. It used to be a much wider and greener park but it was chopped up to put big roads through. Worth a pleasant stroll but I wouldn't go out of my way. Still, if you're re tired of heavy breezes at the seafront, and you don't need a pub, try a nice relaxing walk. Lots of little kids playing around there on a nice day... It may refresh your soul.

I've passed through the park on a number of occasions purely to get from A to B. Popular with street drinkers and with limited conveniences I'm sure that the gardens are well watered. What should be a pleasant safe place for all is spoilt by some of the people who use it. Some areas are family friendly but I wouldn't be sure how safe it is after dark. I wouldn't want to be passing through the area very late at night and would advise a wide birth along the main roads.

Good cafe and well used skate park. It is a shame about all the idiot dealers that have taken over the middle of the park. Doesn't the cctv work? brazen selling of drugs day and night.
